Walking around the designated triangular area we selected a section we felt had a wide variety of uses (residential, commercial, transport , open public spaces, dockyards etc). We chose to investigate sound throughout our section and we mapped type of noise, intensity, frequency and origin of noise in a reasonably organic way by using drawings that documented our impressions of the types of noises we were hearing.
